The First Week... The first week that we moved into the home that Sylmar had built for us, I actually didn't want to go to work, and I love my job! The Preserve at Wye Mills is wonderful. Sylmar obviously made an effort to preserve mature trees and provide open spaces. Sylmar worked with us to adapt their model to our needs and we ended up with a house that is perfect for us. There was no complex after-sale management system to work with. They just do it. C.
Jakubiak I'd Buy Again... I'm in the real estate banking business and I like how Bob ran his company. When I was ready to build my retirement house, I knew the quality, detail, functionality and curb appeal that I wanted. Sylmar's attention to detail matters. That little extra is the difference between Sylmar and other builders, and I see a lot of builders. I'd buy a house from them again in a second. You get great house value. They're not a huge company and when they build a home, they are very committed to making sure you're pleased from start to finish. We're really proud of our home.

We were very pleased with the treatment we received from your entire staff at Schooler’s Pond, particularly from Ted Goudounis. I made it a point to show up at least once a week during the construction of our house. Ted, without fail, made himself available to me to answer any of my questions. This is our first home and, in many ways, we didn’t know what to expect.
